Alair Homes Vancouver Wins Best of 2012 from HomeStars

Thank you to all our customers for posting positive reviews of Alair Homes & Renovations on the HomeStars.com web site. Your positive reviews helped us to be chosen as a “Best of 2012” category winner. There were some outstanding renovations and transformations this year. We completed a lot of basement conversions from moldy and wet basements to outstanding in-law or rental suites. As well, condo renovations were big this year, especially in Yaletown, Coal Harbour, False Creek and Englishman Bay areas of Vancouver and North Vancouver. Every one included kitchen and bath renovations, with a preference to modern styling with wall paneling, high end cabinets, (some Ikea cabinets too). The third area that was popular in 2012 was additions and major renovations to houses in Kitsilano and Coquitlam areas. Heritage homes included removing asbestos, upgrading plumbing, removing knob and tube wiring, and refinishing original hardwood floors. Homes built through the 1980’s saw mostly updating of everything from flooring, kitchens, baths, window replacements, and painting.
