Lead Carpenter

We’re looking to grow our team! Looking for an experienced lead carpenter with handyman skills. We are a quality custom home builder & renovation company with projects throughout the Vancouver area. We are looking for a lead carpenter with exceptional finishing skills that can jump in and “fill in the blanks” between trades. The right fit is not only good at carpentry, but has other skills including drywall, painting, finishing, etc.

Requirements: 

• Great customer service 
• Reliable and punctual 
• Clean cut (no drugs or excessive alcohol)
• Excellent attitude (no complainers) 
• Smart, problem solver 
• Creative and strong attention to detail. (Must be able to think ahead and envision what the finished product will look like and make necessary adjustments etc to ensure finished product is spot on) 
• Must have own tools, safety equipment and transport. 
• Possibility of advancement to Project Manager 

 

Duties:

• Carpentry/finishing carpentry 
• Framing 
• Drywall and paint touch-ups 
• Some digging and lifting
• Demolition 
• Some jack hammering 
• Daily site cleanup 
• Engage in site safety and lead safety meetings
