Alair is proud to welcome Zach and Kara Murray to the Greater Edmonton Area team as partners of our new office in St. Albert, Alberta.
The new St. Albert location compliments Alair’s community building model in the Capital Region, and is the sixth local office in the area.
With a focus on building communities, Alair supports the good people of St. Albert and area live happier, healthier and more productive lives by focusing on a more transparent, caring and communicative construction process.
With a specialty in Universal Design, the Alair St. Albert team specializes in enabling homeowners to remain in their homes throughout their life cycle–from newly weds to growing families to empty nesters, and distinguished elderly. Universal Design is a concept that focuses on adapting existing living space for the new realities that come with age.
Many St. Albert neighbourhoods are also in, or nearing, appropriate age for focused gentrification. Gentrification is general upgrading of older neighbourhoods to benefit from renovations or infills that allows municipalities to grow more efficiently.
Gentrification helps municipalities prevent urban sprawl, which tends to increase municipality operational costs that are covered by increased residential tax rates. And while gentrification is a necessity for growing communities, it must also be balanced with providing low-income families continue access to the communities they have grown to love as well.
Alair St. Albert focuses not only on single builds or projects, but on building better holistic communities that promotes living better and inclusivity of all.
