Hi everyone, I want to discuss the client control you have using our software and budgeting system with Alair Homes South Etobicoke. There are many ways to have a breakdown or price for your project. There are 3 main ways one being fixed price, the second being cost plus and the last one is client control.

Client Control

Client control is what makes Alair Homes so unique. We have a line by line breakdown showing the client each and every price that goes into every project. We request that with your help we complete these details prior to starting. What we do is get 2 – 3 prices for all the main components for the job. Then we show you how we are getting the best price for the best quality products. Once the sub-contractors have been chosen, we then have the client select the items on our software.

After the selection process, you can see all your costs and your selections before the work has started. This gives clients the piece of mind that the job is going to be coming in on budget without surprises. On a fixed price contract a buffer is generally added in leaving the client unaware of what amount is determined to cover for incidents. This is generally why prices are all over the place when you have contractors pricing the same project. With our client control you can rest assure that the price you select is the price you want before we start. We even take it to another level by having the contractors sign a contract with us for what you have selected. In cost plus contracts, the contractor generally will give you a budget and the final price is determined once the job is in progress and you are committed to doing all the work. With client control you make all those decisions before you start.
