The Key to a Great House is in the Design
A new home construction project or a major home renovation can be a very stressful experience or it can be a very enjoyable one. With our clients we have found that those who take a little more time making decisions at the beginning of the project have a much better experience overall.
Alair Homes | Preliminary 3D Drawings for a Custom Home from Alair Homes.
Lets face it; construction projects are very busy and challenging to manage. Clients hire Alair Homes as their contractor to deal with the onsite issues that will arise. Every project will have issues, this is a given. The biggest cause for onsite issues is poor communication. Either the drawings are not what the client has envisioned or changes made during construction are not communicated with everyone involved. This communication is greatly improved if extra time is taken during the planning stages of the project to ensure the drawings and product selections are all correct and the details are hammered out. This level of planning does take more time but it also saves you money and time by keeping the project streamlined. Reducing scope changes, not redoing work already completed and having much better control over the construction costs giving you the ability keep the budget in line.
These pictures and video are preliminary 3D drawings that were done for a client’s major home renovation. The 3D drawings were drafted so that the client could see and envision the end product and any changes, to see if the proposed plan or changes would give them the space and look they wanted. Often during this process the client will see items that they would like to change that they did not notice on the conventional 2D flat floor plan drawings. This additional step greatly reduces the amount of on-site changes after the construction process has already begun, keeping the construction costs on budget, maintaining the timeline, and keeping construction stress to a minimum.
