Alair Homes Calgary is very excited to be part of a very exciting development just east of the city of Calgary, located beside the town of Lyalta, in Wheatland County. After meeting with the developer representative and discussing their amazing vision, we visited the site and were immediately impressed with what we were seeing. As you approach the gated community you are greeted by a very professional layout of signage, clean and maintained roadways, and a beautiful sales and community centre. As you pass through the gates and and enter into the development, you are greeted by an amazing golf course on both sides of the main road.
The first phase being partially developed really brings this area to life, and the homes are impressive. They have utilized architectural controls to ensure that all the homes are held to a high standard of design and material selection. This is a very important process and one that I was very pleased to see, as often when you venture outside the city into smaller communities these controls are more relaxed, and you end up with the possibility of having homes that are not as esthetically pleasing. As you wind through the first phase of this gorgeous development, your eyes are continuously pulled to gaze at the amazing golf course that surrounds the entire first phase. As we toured through the community, we took note that there are some amazing lots still available backing onto the golf course, exceptional locations too, over looking greens and fairways and some overlooking water hazards and a really well maintained canal.
I could not resist the temptation of going for a round of golf, as the course was teasing me and calling out at every turn, I was amazed at the quality as it appeared. We returned the following day and proceeded to enjoy an amazing round of golf. The links style course offered some unique challenges as well as a very professional feel. The grounds were impeccable for the start of the golf season and the greens were very well maintained and fun to play on. As we made our way around the course one could not help but enjoy the scenery and wildlife that you just don’t see in the city anymore. Some beautiful species of birds and ducks inhabit the water features, as well as wild prairie rabbits hopping around, hawks soaring around the sky, and even some deer wondering through a field. It had that real country feel that some of us yearn for, the feeling of RELAXATION. We also had an amazing vantage to view the entire development from another perspective, which made us really appreciate the efforts that have gone into planning this community, the houses that back onto the course have been vetted properly so that the architecture flows and brings more beauty to the golf course.
Whether you are a golf enthusiast, casual golfer or just love being outside the city, this development has something to offer. The lot’s are affordable, the community is well maintained, and the views are awesome. As I drove back to city I really felt like I was driving away from a special place, serenity and calm surround the area and make it very appealing. I clocked my trip back, as I know how important it is for some convenience in todays world. It was six minutes to the Trans Canada highway, and another eight minutes to Chestermere, a total of eighteen minutes to the ring road. Pretty amazing to be that accessible, as Chestermere has virtually every amenity needed for day to day, including brand name box store and grocery stores, as well as restaurants and some other conveniences. With the new ring road, it makes the entire city convenient to access. I really look forward to bringing clients to view this community and see them experience the beauty of The Lakes of Muirfield, and build them a home that they can enjoy and live in a community they can be proud of.
