Meadowview Addition
Situated on an elevated lot, this 25-year old cottage offers beautiful views from the front deck. As the client had planned to sell her house in Brandon and move to the lake full-time, there was a need for more square footage to accommodate her new lifestyle.
The project involved a major renovation and addition, increasing the cottage size by 700-800 square feet to incorporate additional bedroom, living, and extended kitchen space. The existing cottage was upgraded throughout, and a bathroom was added to the second level.
We preserved the shell of the original cabin and the wood staircase, which held sentimental value to the family. By updating and expanding the cottage, we transformed it into a full-time home that combines cherished memories with modern living.
